I came to Singapore in 1989 to establish this company.   There has been ups and downs in the market.  But current recession is by far the worst I've ever experienced.

In our hey days, we underwrote a lot of deals - bond issues, syndicated loans and project finances.  Please click here for our track records.  Well, those were the days.

Since the middle of 1997, financial market in South East Asia has been dead, hasn't it?  Not quite, We started to see new transactions - in the name of restructuring - and soon I hope I'll be seeing a lot of re-financing of the restructured loan.

Now, we started a new line of business since middle of last year - a financial advisory.

August 1998, we are mandated by PT Astra International Tbk, one of the largest conglomerates in Indonesia, to advise on its debt restructuring.  Now we are advising more than 10 comapnies within the group, Astra Int'l itself, Astra Mobile Companies, Component Group and Heavy Equipment Group.  Click company logo to read comapny press release on this. This Restructuring was successfully completed in June 1999 and awarded as "Asian Restructuring Deal of the Year" by International Finance Review.

June 1999, we got another mandate from PT Citatah Tbk, the largest producer of marble in Indonesia.  We are about to start due diligence.  Click the comapny logo to read company press release on this.
